You’ve been learning basic technique for a few weeks now, and it’s time to try putting things together! “Randori” is a form of “free style practice” in Japanese martial arts, and in the context of Parkour, you’re going to be learning how to do this amazing stuff in real life by learning combinations of basic techniques, and chaining them together in real-world scenarios.
This class does require familiarity with some basic Parkour concepts, including bail techniques, so prerequisites are familiarity with the skills listed under “White Band Obstacle Course” on the LevelUp page of our website (urbanevo.com/levelup). In order to take this class, you must pass an assessment. To schedule your assessment, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Testing is done by appointment and on a first-come, first-served basis. Please allow a week to schedule your test.
The prerequisite skills for White Band Obstacle Course class are:
- Safety mount, dismount/ vault
- Speed vault
- Easy mount, dismount/vault
- Precision jump/ landing
- 4pt. landing
- Cat leap/hang
- Dyno/top out
- Wall stall
- Descending w/o dropping to ground
- Rail walk/QM
- Rail bail
- Rail swing bail
- Catch fall
- Pull ups (1 for girls / women, 3 for boys / men)
